One year after reaching the 1st place in the International Chopin Competition in Warsaw, the Korean pianist Seong-Jin Cho announces the release of his first studio album on the Deutsche Grammophon label. He dedicates it to the works of F. Chopin, namely the Piano Concerto No. 1 and four ballades. Recorded at Abbey Road, Seong-Jin Cho is accompanied by the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Gianandrea Noseda. With his immense talent and natural musicality, Seong-Jin Cho quickly embarked on a world-class career and is considered one of the most distinctive artists of his generation. At only 21 years old, the pianist plays with the greatest orchestras in the world and has won numerous awards: 1st prize at the International Frédéric Chopin Competition in Moscow, 1st place at the Hamamatsu International Piano Competition, and 3rd place at the Tchaikovsky International Competition.
