Since its formation in 1999, Seether (Shaun Morgan – singer / guitarist, Dale Stewart, Bass / Vocals, John Humpfrey – Drums, and Corey Lowery – Guitar / Vocals) has become one of the essential bands in the global Hard Rock scene. Originating from Pretoria (South Africa), they have released eight albums, four of which are certified platinum and one Gold, in addition to a live DVD that sold 500,000 copies.
Produced by Shaun Morgan and mixed by Matt Hyde (Deftones, AFI), their new album Si Vis Pacem Para Bellum (which means "If you want peace, prepare for war") was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee over two months between December and January 2020. The successor to 'Poison The Parish', this album is their eighth, more politically charged than ever. Shaun Morgan once again offers us this aggression and his melodic writing. Also, the new member of Seether, Cory Lowery (former singer – guitarist of Saint Asonia and Stuck Mojo) brings a new sonic dimension to the band's studio and live work. Some tracks, like "Dangerous" and "Beg" are anthems, and it would not be surprising to see them in the rock radio charts throughout the summer.
