L'Aventura was born from Brazilian warmth. A journey from his childhood in Brazil accompanied by local arranger Arthur Verocai. A fiery blend of love, dreams, sunshine and landscapes. "For this album I wanted to rewrite my childhood. I chose to set this adventure in Brazil, a country of splendor and joy with an eternally childlike soul." The recording, produced by Sebastien Tellier, took place between Paris and Rio de Janeiro during the year 2013. Besides Rio, Sebastien's adventures took him to the studios of Jean-Michel Jarre, Bernard Estardy, and Philippe Zdar. The latter, who knows so well how to make French music resonate internationally, here elevates the ten tracks of this album, halfway between the elegance and exactingness of a maestro and the immediacy of a popular song. For the first time in his career, Sébastien Tellier writes all of his lyrics in French. Gainsbourg is not far, like a wall, a tutelary figure, Christophe like a springboard, giving him more space to express himself, Lucio Battisti, the Italian, who made him understand that singing in his mother tongue is possible.
