Fabric 90: Scuba
Description
The career of Londoner Paul Rose, aka Scuba, has been intrinsically linked to Hotflush Recordings, the label he created in 2003. Full circle, he has gradually returned to the formative style he adopted in the 90s, when he drew inspiration from Colin Faver and Jeff Mills. Rose's appearances at fabric have evolved over time, from Friday night bass music to Saturday night house and techno. Scuba's ability to select, sequence, and weave together 42 tracks for over 75 minutes is remarkable. He calls upon artists as diverse as Pearson Sound, Patrick Cowley, Donato Dozzy, and Midland, without ever compromising the dark and seductive atmosphere he sets throughout the mix. This reveals that even in unstable lo-fi techno and underground bass sounds, the possibility of losing oneself in the rave is present and makes sense.Buy Fabric 90: Scuba at the best price
