Scratch Acid Ep + Berserker (Remastered) - Vinyle 180Gr
Description
Formed in the early 1980s in the Austin noise punk scene, Scratch Acid immediately rejected hardcore conventions in favor of a stranger, artier sound. Even before the release of their eponymous debut EP in 1984 on Rabid Cat Records, a band cassette landed in the hands of Corey Rusk (Touch and Go Records), who instantly became a fan. Although already committed elsewhere, the band forged a strong connection with Rusk, who began organizing shows for them in Detroit. Touring intensely across the United States, Scratch Acid built a solid reputation through fanzines, college radio, and fervent word-of-mouth. In 1987, this friendly connection with Rusk finally led to an official collaboration: Touch and Go released their second EP, *Berserker*, capturing all of the band's chaotic and innovative power. 180gr vinyl edition.
