The goal from the start was to surpass the success of 'Blackout'. They succeeded, because 'Love At First Sting' became the most successful album of the band's long career and gave rise to classics like "Still Loving You", "Rock You Like A Hurricane" and "BigCity Nights", which are still highlights of every Scorpions concert today.With "Still Loving You", they cemented their reputation as masters of the soulful rock ballad and sold over two million singles in France alone. "Rock You Like A Hurricane", along with "The Zoo", is the most played live song by the Scorpions and features monster riffs, combined with complex guitar playing and the incomparable voice of Klaus Meine. The iconic cover photo of the embracing couple and the black-and-white group photo released in the United States were taken by the iconic photographer Helmut Newton.
