Taba, the new album from Japanese musician, composer, and traveler Satomimagae, presents itself as a series of vignettes that document both the personal and the universal, the seen and the unseen. Some of Taba's songs feature intimate moments captured by Satomi’s handheld recorder, poetic moments of sound design animated by bedroom pop tonal and rhythmic foundations.
