Aylar

Description

Heavily influenced by the wave of psychedelic rock fused with traditional folk music that swept over Turkey in the 1960s and 1970s, Satellites' self-titled debut album gained international acclaim. Since their beginnings, Satellites has evolved from a studio project into a full-fledged touring band. Over time, the lineup has evolved, allowing the group to recreate their studio sound live. Their expanded lineup now includes Tsuf Mishali on keyboards and synths, known for his work in prog psych bands, and Tal Eyal on percussion. Rotem Bahar has also become the band's full-time vocalist, adding a fuller and rawer touch to the band's sound. Behind the drums, Lotan Yaish brings dynamic energy to the rhythm section. While Satellites' self-titled debut laid the foundation for their sound, Aylar marks their transformation into a fully realized musical force. With this album, Satellites confidently step out of the shadow of their Anatolian psychedelic heroes to create a record that is both modern and timeless, expanding their influences while deepening their connection to their roots.Heavily influenced by the wave of psychedelic rock fused with traditional folk music that swept over Turkey in the 1960s and 1970s, Satellites' self-titled debut album gained international acclaim.
