Description

Founded by six Parisians, SARAH W. PAPSUN stepped onto the French scene in 2008. Since then, the group has become known for its marathon performances, blending the scope of post-rock with its electro fervor and "amphetaminized" vocals. A winner of the FAIR 2012 award, SARAH W. PAPSUN notably distinguished itself at the Transmusicales de Rennes, after touring with Bewitched Hands, Stuck In The Sound, Skip The Use, Pony Pony Run Run, and Breton. Among their most famous tracks are "Pay Try" (soundtrack for the global Citroën C4 commercial) and "5''", which served as the "Coming Next" theme for Canal Plus's Grand Journal for several weeks. After a debut album, Péplum, released in September 2013, SARAH W. PAPSUN returns with a new, supercharged album featuring catchy choruses. In the vein of Foals and Breton, Marathon is an album where the band's identity shines brighter than ever, robust and precise, energetic and cerebral.
