"Saor" is a Scottish Gaelic term meaning free, unbound, unconstrained. All these characteristics are the very essence of SAOR's music, a musical entity whose sole member is Andy Marshall.
Like a solitary wanderer proudly declaiming, from the misty Caledonian mountains, the tales and myths of his people, culture, and region for the wind to carry, Andy has carved a solitary but particularly inspiring path with SAOR.
