The American singer-songwriter returns with a new luminous and committed album. The Oklahoma singer-songwriter will release her fourth album, Under Branch & Thorn & Tree, at the end of August. It follows the wonderful Kid Face, which brought her to prominence in France. This new album contains intimate folk vignettes that focus on the details of everyday life that can sometimes escape us. "I don't write protest songs in the traditional sense of the word," explains CRAIN, "These stories are written from the perspective of society's outcasts."
