SAM MORTON, a duo composed of British actress Samantha Morton and XL Recordings producer and label head Richard Russell, releases their debut album 'Daffodils & Dirt'. A spontaneous and unexpected collaboration gives birth to a quasi-autobiographical work, an opportunity for Samantha Morton to reflect crudely and poetically on her childhood as a ward of the state, to exorcise the past through art and music.
