TIMBRE marks the long-awaited return of Salvador Sobral. The fourth studio album by the Portuguese musician includes 11 new original songs, written in collaboration with Leo Aldrey, who also produced the album. The name TIMBRE was chosen for two main reasons: the first is the most obvious, Salvador is a singer and performer, and what defines and distinguishes him most is his voice, his timbre. The second reason is the singer's interest in the concept of timbre as a color, the color of the voice and instruments. The album presents itself as a palette of colorful timbres.
