Recorded at the Sonic Whip Festival 2022 in Nijmegen, The Netherlands, this live album shows American psychedelic rock band Sacri Monti in full flow, oscillating between spontaneity and musical calculation. Blurry blues rock, spicy prog rock, driving proto metal, and riff-laden fusion are all masterfully represented, as brazen as it is beautiful. Hordes of fuzzed vocals, waves of keyboards, boogie rhythms and spiralling leads mingle with concentration, energy and dynamism to send Sacri Monti to a higher level, a land filled with riffs. Proggy space rock jams erupt while melodies weave in and out, while vocals drift over the top, seemingly lost in the instrumental sea. This 7-track vinyl contains tracks from their two albums ("Sacri Monti"-2015 & "Waiting Room For The Magic Hour"-2019) on the excellent TeePee Records label.
