Description

Originally from the Bordeaux region, the band Rouge Gorge Rouge rises from the still-warm musical ashes of the group Sincabeza, which led the Bordeaux "Post Rock" scene of the 2000s. Their third album, "NASH", is a curious blend of Progressive Rock, Post Rock, and Psychedelic Rock. Somewhere between Sonic Youth, Joy Division, and Liars. While music and the emotions it evokes have a strong imprint on RGR's work, the vocals are taking up more and more space, the mood is tenser on this new record, more muscular, but diversity is still present, served in a homogeneous way (notably the tribal rhythmic side). From "Mazout", a noisy epic with almost "doom" accents, to "Pyramide" and its rich, deviant keyboard melodies, the band continues to experiment and reinvent themselves...
