Description

After two previous opuses — White Stairz and l'Ile Noire — and concerts across France (Printemps de Bourges, Bars en Trans, Francofolies de la Rochelle, Festival Cabaret Vert…), the Reims duo presents "Rien n'a de sens," their new album, revealing more of their unique pop poetry. Their songs are constructed as a synthetic oscillation between dream and reality, between abyssal and luminous melodies. Influenced by the New Wave/New Romantics scene, borrowing from Berger's latest inspirations or Etienne Daho, they immerse us in hazy memories, like those strange moments when, abandoned to a semi-sleep, nothing is dreamed but everything seems unreal. It is in these fragmentary images, on the wave of dreams, between full sun and deep sleep, that Rouge Congo plants us, and leaves us in Wonderland.
