The story of ROSCOE is worthy of the American dream, Belgian version. Just signed to the [PIAS] Recordings label, After a listen, "Cracks" has managed in just a few months to establish itself as one of the most beautiful promises of Belgian rock. Broadcast in a loop on the main Belgian radios, the public discovers all the intensity of tracks like Lowlands and Enemies. "We call ourselves Roscoe in homage to the bluegrass singer Roscoe Holcomb whom I particularly love and to the song Roscoede Midlake which is unanimously appreciated in the group." Influenced by SIGUR ROS and ELBOW, among others, ROSCOE delivers in this first album rock sounds tinged with a slight electric tension but also fragile and melodic (Enemies, A Safe Place). On stage, the 5 Liège residents impress with their ability to crystallize all the energy of their tracks, filling the most beautiful venues in Belgium (Orangerie, Ancienne Belgique,...) and winning over critics.
