To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Rory Gallagher’s eponymous 1971 debut solo album, this 5-CD deluxe box set reissue features a new mix of the original album, 30 previously unreleased outtakes, 6 songs recorded during the ‘John Peel Sunday Concert’ on the BBC, and 4 tracks from the BBC ‘Sounds Of The Seventies’ radio sessions. Also included in this box set is a 40-minute DVD of Rory’s first ever solo concert, filmed in Paris for the TV show Pop 2, a 32-page hardcover book with previously unseen photos, liner notes, interviews and recollections from the album's recording, as well as a poster.
