The third and fourth albums, BOWMBOÏ and TCHAMANTCHÈ, were successively certified gold, with TCHAMANTCHÈ also winning a Victoire de la Musique in 2009 in the world music album category. In 2013, the French government awarded her the title of Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters. In 2014, the SACEM award for world music album of the year was given to BEAUTIFUL AFRICA, her fifth album, which also ranked #1 on the Billboard World Music Charts.
