In 'Broken Lines', Robinson Khoury breaks the codes of modern jazz by experimenting with various composition formats. His first album, 'Frame Of Mind', having been released at the dawn of the first lockdown due to the health crisis, the music stemming from this second installment is impacted by the societal environment. The constraints experienced by the population would foster inspiration for the trombonist's compositions. In parallel, his attraction to various artistic movements, such as sculpture and painting, particularly Cubist, Minimalist, or Abstract movements, would also spark ideas for associations (colors-modes, shapes-rhythms). In this new opus, Robinson portrays contemporary images in his own way, through multiple archi-textures.
