Rival Schools’ Found is a collection of rarities, demos, and alternate takes of songs collected in the years following the release of their 2001 debut album United By Fate. Originally released over a decade ago, the band has partnered with Run For Cover Records for a limited 2024 reissue. Found features eleven songs that display the range of sounds the band tinkered with in the decade between those albums — it’s a must-have for any fans of the band. Rival Schools grew out of singer/guitarist Walter Schreifels’ project, who, as a member of Youth of Today, Gorilla Biscuits, and Quicksand, regularly reinvented the sound of hardcore. In Rival Schools, he was joined by bandmates Ian Love, Cache Tolman, and Sammy Siegler, whose other projects at the time included Iceburn, CIV, and Glassjaw. Pressed on glitter amber vinyl.
