Music of the Sun (2005): The young artist was discovered by producer Evan Rogers, who helped her create demos and send them to labels. After signing a contract with Def Jam, Rihanna continued working with Rogers and his partner Carl Sturken. Music of the Sun is a blend of dance-pop, dancehall, and reggae, and notably features the hit single 'Pon de Replay.'
A Girl Like Me (2006): After the success of her track 'Pon de Replay,' Rihanna was ready to take her career and music to new heights. First, the hit 'SOS,' the lead single from her new album "A Girl Like Me," was sure to make Rihanna one of pop music's rising stars.
Good Girl Gone Bad (2007): The R'n'B singer's third album, which contained global hits thanks largely to major successes: From 'Umbrella,' followed by 'Shut Up and Drive,' 'Don't Stop The Music,' and not forgetting 'Hate That I Love You,' 'Take a Bow,' 'Disturbia,' 'If I Never See Your Face Again,' and 'Rehab.'
Rated R (2009): The singer's fourth album. The album title refers to a rating in the United States for films restricted to viewers under 17 unless accompanied by an adult. It notably includes global hits: 'Russian Roulette,' 'Rude Boy,' etc.
Loud (2010): Rihanna's 5th studio album, on which she collaborated with several producers, such as StarGate, The Runners, Polow da Don, Tricky Stewart, and Alex da Kid, among others. Loud heavily incorporates dance-pop and pop music genres. It also marks Rihanna's first return to a dancehall influence apparent on her 2006 album 'A Girl Like Me.' It notably features global hits: 'Only Girl' (In the World), 'S&M,' 'Man Down,' 'Cheers' (Drink to That), etc.
Talk That Talk (2011): Sixth studio album, boosted by the hit 'We Found Love' featuring Calvin Harris.
