"Christmas Spirit" is a Christmas album by Richard Marx released in October 2012. Five of the album's tracks had previously appeared on his 2011 EP, "The Christmas EP". "Christmas Spirit" peaked at number 181 on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart and number 21 on the Billboard Top Christmas Albums Chart. Two of the new tracks reached the top 20 on the Adult Contemporary charts. "I Heard The Bells On Christmas Day" is based on Casting Crowns' arrangement of the song from their album "Peace On Earth".
