They are performed with mastery by the legendary conductor Riccardo Muti and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Chorus. Drawing on his experience with these works that he has conducted many times during his tenure as music director of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Maestro Muti recorded them in concert in June 2017 at the helm of the CSO.
