Description

RHINO is the result of a European life. Born in England, he grew up in Germany where he studied at the American school until he obtained his Baccalauréat. Surrounded by classmates from all over the world, he was already interested in sounds from elsewhere. In 2006, at only 19 years old, he moved to Liverpool and took over The Magnet, a club renowned for hosting Queen's first concert! As a resident DJ in this mythical soul & funk venue, he also booked artists such as Gilles Peterson, Mr Scruff, Roy Ayers, and Andy C. He permanently settled in France in 2012, where, as a producer, he benefited from the influences of his eclectic collaborations with artists such as Kid Creole, Jean-Jacques Milteau, Deluxe, MF Doom, Biga Ranx, and Jukebox Champions. Today, he is recognized as one of the best live machine performers in Europe, allowing the public to enjoy a more playful show than usual. He is supported by brands such as Akai, Numark Ableton, and Converse, to name but a few. Now based in the South of France, he is dedicating himself to this promising new project: Welcome. His first single, "You Got Something feat. Tom Ashbrook," was released last June. It is accompanied by a music video directed by David Job and RHINO. His second single, "Within You Feat Elias," released on October 13th, is already on many radio playlists and Apple and Deezer playlists. It was time for this first EP "WELCOME" to be released in 2018! => 6-track vinyl EP + 2 official remixes
