This iconic album features his most famous track, "Death Don't Have No Mercy," as well as songs like "Samson and Delilah" and "Twelve Gates to the City." This album is considered Davis's masterpiece and one of the most significant recordings of the folk era. Blind Gary Davis, known for his unique fingerpicking guitar style, influenced many artists. This album is reissued in the audiophile Bluesville Acoustic Sounds Series on 180-gram vinyl.
