Puts : The Hours (Live)
Description
First presented at the Metropolitan Opera in New York in 2022, Kevin Puts' opera The Hours was hailed by the New York Times as "sincere and persuasive... fervent... and lyrical to a fault." Inspired by Stephen Daldry's award-winning 2002 film and Michael Cunningham's original novel, The Hours weaves together characters and events from three different periods of the 20th century. Featuring singers Joyce DiDonato, Renée Fleming, and Kelli O'Hara, and conducted by Yannick Nézet-Séguin, "The Hours" offers an innovative approach to a timeless story. "The characters' struggles are universal, and by highlighting them through different personalities and eras, we hope that everyone can find a part of themselves in the story," Joyce DiDonato.Buy Puts : The Hours (Live) at the best price
