Noël et caetera
Description
Compilation of Christmas CarolsRené Binamé is a Belgian group founded in 1988, specializing in anarchopunk songs with incisive lyrics, sometimes tinged with electro sounds and a free-punk tendency. A large part of their repertoire consists of covers, sometimes faithful, sometimes twisted. René Binamé lets its committed songs transmute according to mood into noise-poetic walks, collective trances, hypnotic lullabies or tender and incendiary swaying. Between 1991 and 1998, René Binamé organized a special Christmas concert every end of December including original anarchist songs (Le Père Noël est un Bordure) or twisted covers (Enola Gay becomes Un Noël Gay), often humorously linked to religious festivities (Jésus Tu Es Naze, Arrête). These tracks, which have become standards of the group's repertoire and remained scattered on limited edition CDs, are now gathered on an 11-track vinyl and a 20-track CD augmented with 9 bonus tracks from elsewhere.Buy Noël et caetera at the best price
