Those intrigued by the album's title will find in the copious booklet (8 pages in the LP, 16 pages in the CD) plenty to satisfy and awaken their curiosity. The Paris Commune of 1871, the Walloon riots of 1886, the Ukrainian peasant insurrection of 1921, the Kronstadt sailors' mutiny of 1921 and the Spanish revolution of 1936 are the subjects of a few short historical essays that happily avoid the wooden language and jargon all too often used on the subject.
