In 1991, R.E.M. propelled alternative music to the forefront of the global stage with the release of "Out of Time". A quarter of a century later, Concord Music Group reissues their masterpiece in a special 25th Anniversary edition filled with unreleased tracks and rarities. Available in three formats (2CD, 3LP, and 3CD+1BluRay), these reissues all contain, in addition to the fully remastered original album, demos of each track from the record, plus the demos of two tracks intended for B-sides (not included on the album) as well as an unreleased song. The 3LP box set offers the vinyl versions of the original album and the demos. The Deluxe edition features, in addition to the previously mentioned material, recordings made during a concert at Mountain Stage in 1991 - a rarity, as the band did not undertake any promotional tour for the album's release - a Blu-Ray disc in High Resolution audio with Surround Sound 5.1 versions of 'Out Of Time', all the music videos from the album, "Time Piece", the promotional video from 1991 with studio footage, and some exclusive bonuses. All these versions come with a complete booklet signed by Annie Zaleski, featuring interviews with the four band members, as well as producers Scott Litt and John Keane.
