Shattered is Reigning Sound's first album on Merge, and the band's first full-length release since 2009's Love and Curses. The 11 tracks feature the American band alternating between ballads and edgy rock. Songwriter and main band member Greg Cartwright is known for having participated in numerous musical projects such as The Oblivians, Parting Gifts, Compulsive Gamblers, 68 Comeback, Deadly Snakes, and The Detroit Cobras.
