RAISED FIST is one of the most enduring Swedish punk-hardcore bands. They release their sixth album, From The North, after a five-year absence. It was in 1993 that the band signed their first contract with a label while the members were still teenagers. This was followed by nominations for the Grammy Awards and numerous offers from major music labels. This latest album returns to the roots that propelled them to the forefront, namely pure punk and hardcore. Thanks to their collaboration with Roberto Laghi, one of the most famous hard music producers in Sweden, RAISED FIST delivers here performances, as they themselves say, that they had never experienced in the past, with lyrics that are much more elaborate and less vague than usual. The band describes From The North as the most accomplished album of their entire career.
