New album from the pope of DIY recording, a true handyman of home recording. This shaggy sweet madman has recorded over 400 albums since 1976 and has become a human legend for any fan of homemade stuff (but still pretty well made). He is enjoying a late but significant rehabilitation thanks to young upstarts (Ariel Pink being his absolute fan). The beauty of Moore's work lies not in the admiration or respect it inspires, but in the fact that this need to do it yourself, this innate gesture and natural emotion, is communicated spontaneously to his listeners. This new album, which we will call lo-fi to be cool, is a spark. Produced by Irwin Chusid (also in charge of the legacy of Sun Ra, Raymond Scott and co) and features such as Ariel Pink, Jason Falkner, Lane Steinberg.
