'Pythagoras', the new album from Pyramids, the culmination of nine years of work, will be released in 2025 via the avant-garde label The Flenser. A bold new study in genre synthesis, the band continues to push the boundaries of sound and aesthetics, blending jagged fragments of black metal and shoegaze, as they have since their impactful debut on Hydra Head Records in 2008, but this time adding unconventional touches of reggaeton and neoperreo, both vocally and rhythmically. Named after the ancient Greek philosopher, 'Pythagoras' embodies the band's constant commitment to innovation and the perpetual juxtaposition of the delicate and the devastating, adopting complex musical structures and rhythms that challenge and captivate the listener.
