A track-by-track reimagining of the 'Existential Reckoning' album featuring versions of the tracks by Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross, Justin Chancellor of Tool, Troy Van Leeuwen of Queens of the Stone Age, and Phantogram. Following the release of its parent album in 2020, American experimental rock band Puscifer (formed as a side project by Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan) commissioned a companion remix album for 'Existential Reckoning'. The album's tracks are remixed or reimagined by Jordan Fish of Bring Me The Horizon, Tony Hajjar of At The Drive-In, and Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails, among others. Born somewhere in the Arizona desert, Puscifer is an electro-rock band, a multimedia experiment, a traveling circus, and survivors of alien abduction. The band's catalog consists of three full-length studio albums - 'V is for Vagina' (2007), 'Conditions of My Parole' (2011), 'Money Shot' (2015), and 'Existential Reckoning' (2020) - in addition to a series of EPs and remixes. Puscifer is set to release the final installment of the Existential Reckoning cycle next year with 'Existential Reckoning - Re-Wired' on March 31, 2023, via Alchemy Recording/BMG. The album contains remixed and reimagined versions of tracks from the 'Existential Reckoning' album by Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails), Jordan Fish (Bring Me The Horizon), Troy Van Leeuwen (Queens Of The Stone Age), Tony Hajjar (At The Drive In), Phantogram, and more. Beyond the core trio of Maynard James Keenan (vocals), Mat Mitchell (guitar, production), and Carina Round (vocals, songwriting), the band's ever-evolving ecosystem encompasses a cast of characters such as Billy D and his wife Hildy Berger, Major Douche, Special Agent Dick Merkin, and many others. Meanwhile, the origins of the moniker date back to a 1995 episode of the HBO classic, Mr. Show, where Keenan first used the name "Puscifer." In addition to racking up tens of millions of streams and views, they have piqued the curiosity of the press. Entertainment Weekly dubbed them "exceptionally groovy" and Revolver aptly described them as "indescribable."
