After the release in 2012 of Revolve And Step Up, their space odyssey, the Puppetmastaz decided to move towards a more hip-hop, more traditional sound with their sixth album Keep Yo Animal. Realizing that there was nothing more to find in space than a few constellations and laser beams, our favorite puppets decided to return to a more organic sound made of drum beats and bass lines that hit like Cypress Hill or Wu Tang Clan. But they wouldn't be the Puppetmastaz if they hadn't brought back a little something from their space wanderings: several artists from other universes joined Keep Yo Animal, and not just any: Modeselektor, Mouse on Mars, and Hippocampe Fou.
