PUÑAL returns with their first album, seven years after their demo. Hailing from Mallorca, their punk is furious, raw, and very angry. The album's 10 tracks draw their roots from classic Iberian punk while remaining current. Driven by the classic 1-2 drum beat, the tracks, propelled by a bass that is both acerbic and dirty, set the tone for their antisocial and enraged message. Nihilistic street thug lyrics evoke Cicatriz or Eskorbuto, but lean more towards the 82-era British and Latin American aggro, with occasional touches of South Californian punk. The album is entirely dedicated to Marti, former drummer of Punal (Orden Mundial, Trau, and a million other bands), a pillar of the Mallorcan punk scene, who tragically died in a motorcycle accident in 2019.
