NEW ALBUM, FEATURING “ON MY MIND” AND A DUET WITH MAËLLE
Puggy makes a grand comeback with ARE WE THERE YET? an album that celebrates freedom, eclecticism, and the art of savoring the journey as much as the destination. The Brussels trio, MATTHEW IRONS, ROMAIN DESCAMPE, and EGIL “ZIGGY” FRANZEN, showcases their full range: luminous pop, organic grooves, electro touches, and unifying choruses that condense energy and emotion into each track.
Carried by the singles “ON MY MIND” and “SOMETHING GOOD,” the project also features “MIRROR,” a highly anticipated duet with singer MAËLLE. The second single from the album, “MIRROR” explores the unsettling feeling of not recognizing oneself in one's reflection, of being distant from what one wishes to embody. This track gains intensity thanks to the participation of MAELLE, a key figure in the new French music scene, and the songwriting of YSEULT, who co-wrote the track. Between intimacy and power, “MIRROR” perfectly illustrates the emotional depth of this new opus.
The album was meticulously crafted by the band, benefiting from prestigious collaborations with Californian sound engineer MITCH MCCARTHY (Chappell Roan, Olivia Rodrigo), NKF. (Angèle, Zaho de Sagazan, Orelsan), and NATHAN PHILIPPS, creator of Lola Young’s hit “Messy.” These contributions confirm Puggy’s desire to mark its return with demanding and generous modernity.
This new chapter will precede an exceptional fall tour, highlighted by two major concerts: the Olympia in Paris and Forest National in Brussels.
