Les Psycho Mutants are the most important Rock'n'roll band in their country, Hungary, and they owe it to two things: their stage performances and the personality of their charismatic singer. Les Psycho Mutants deliver with flair their vision of a rock that takes its origins from Johnny Cash, the Gun Club, or Nick Cave... Musically, it is indeed a "mutant" blend of music listened to and music felt, something we have never heard. A rock'n'roll as intense as it would have been played by a Hank Williams raised in Dracula's castle and thinking he is Chris Isaak one drunken night at the Palinka. While the band has a classic rock lineup: bass, drums, guitar, vocals, they are not a revival band; they are not repeaters of a worn-out style. The addition of a trumpet, a banjo, or an accordion is not foreign to them. They have fought, separated, and reunited, have traveled across Europe (France, Germany, Switzerland, Serbia, Slovenia, Austria, etc.) and are the fruit of a tree whose roots are in Hungary, but whose branches are in England or the United States. This new record, "BABY BURN," their third album, reflects even better their (r)evolution.
