Description

Sélavy is the first album by Prosper. It features 13 tracks ranging from fairly traditional French chanson to more techno, rap, rock, punk, or even pop styles. Wordplay and figures of speech occupy a central place in the song lyrics. Following his practice as a visual artist, where he cuts out and connects elements that seemingly have nothing in common, Prosper uses the vocabulary of the French language as a tool to express his emotions and feelings about life, its sorrows and joys, breaking down the boundaries between poetry, song, and artwork.Some tracks are produced by the pillars of the label, Mézigue, Mad Rey and GGGG, and others by Johan Papaconstantino, Blasé and bbbmo.
