The instrumental album was shelved, but fortunately, \"Time Stands Still\" was born.Paul was a fan of Wendy's work, both solo and with the band Gloria, and her presence on the tracks \"Entre chien et loup\" and \"Extra Nuit\" by Project Gemini demonstrated an obvious synergy between their musical approaches and sounds. For \"Time Stands Still,\" he sent the instrumental tracks one by one, with Wendy taking the time to find melodies and French poems that appealed to her, and sending back her ideas from her home near Lyon.Drawing inspiration from French soundtrack composers such as François de Roubaix, Francis Lai, and Michel Colombier, as well as French female artists like Léonie and Laurence Vanay, these productions are a contemporary love letter to that sound, not a tribute.
