Profeti della Quinta made its debut with Linn with a unique program of Italian madrigals, instrumental pieces, and Hebrew prayers by Salomone Rossi. This program reveals Rossi's multiple talents both as a court composer in the service of the Gonzaga family and as a unique innovator in the field of synagogue sacred music. The singers, native Hebrew speakers specializing in the Italian baroque repertoire, fully embody the work of the Italian Jewish composer Rossi. When awarding Profeti della Quinta the York Early Music Young Artists Competition in 2011, producer and jury member Philip Hobbs stated that he heard "an incredibly authentic interpretation and absolutely beautiful execution."
