Description

Princess Goes to the Butterfly Museum is a new alternative band, describing themselves as "Gothadelic Rocktronic", with influences ranging from David Bowie to Black Sabbath and Donna Summer, all in a unique and modern style. The band is composed of a formidable trio: singer Michael C. Hall, who starred in TV shows "Dexter" and "Six Feet Under", and on Broadway, where he played lead roles in Hedwig, Angry Inch and Lazarus, keyboardist Matthew Katz Bohen from the rock band Blondie, and drummer Peter Yanowitz from Wallflowers and Morningwood. The album was written primarily during the pandemic, and both sinister and sublime sounds and themes can be found throughout the music.
