15 tracks from the archives of PRINCE, 14 of which have never been released. A selection of tracks composed by PRINCE and performed by other artists including The Bangles, Martika, Apollonia 6, The Time, Jill Jones, The Family, and Sheila E. Prince will forever be remembered as an exceptional stage performer, a musician who conquered the charts, and a pioneer in the record industry. Alongside a rich career spanning four decades, Prince also worked tirelessly to promote the talent of artists he respected by writing songs for them. In June, the Prince Estate, in partnership with Warner Bros. Records and TIDAL, will release Originals, an album of 15 tracks including 14 unreleased recordings highlighting the vital role played behind the scenes by Prince in the careers of other artists. These tracks were selected by Troy Carter, the representative of the Prince Estate, and JAY-Z.
