The first album from the cult Brazilian thrash/HC band - originally released in 2008, out of print since 2010, - for the first time with proper vinyl mastering, - LP in gatefold with printed insert, The Brazilian thrash/crossover band Possuido Pelo Cão is a cult group in their country, not only because of some of its members, who are also known from Violator, DxFxCx, Terror Revolucionario and Innocent Kids. The first demo "Semen Churches", which Possessed singer Jeff Becerra publicly praised, was released in 2006 and was only published at the time in digital format and in a small CD run. A reissue (CD only) on Golden Core took place in fall 2024. The political and society-critical lyrics are typical of the genre, but it goes without saying that fun also plays an important role. This is what you hear throughout the energetic first album "Possessed In The Circle Pit". The joy of playing and the energy are simply contagious, even on a sound carrier. Since 2010, this first album from 2008 was no longer available on vinyl. The timing is perfect, as the band has been active again for a few months and finally wants to establish itself in Europe. The LP reissue, for the first time properly mastered for vinyl and in gatefold, as well as the recent 2006 EP "Semen Churches", also released on Golden Core, help them with this.
