Gondwana Records and Portico Quartet announce a limited edition collector's item with an extended version of their composition Terrain, rearranged and recorded at Abbey Road.Terrain (Extended) offers an extended version of the composition rearranged by Portico Quartet - a subtle reconfiguration of the band that includes a string quartet - which allowed for a full exploration of the textures and deeper resonances of the composition, as well as how to broaden the dialogue between tranquility and a subtly unsettling melancholy. November 9, 2021 was a very special session. The band brought in long-time collaborator, sound engineer and mixer Greg Freeman from Berlin to work with Abbey Road's Chris Bolster.
