DELETE EVERYTHING

Description

Formed in the mid-80s in the Midlands, the band not only continues to devour pop, but also pours it into a glorious mess of exhilarating ideas on their new album "Delete Everything." This eighth album sees them refine, define, and deconstruct their blend of industrial rock, looped techno, gonzo hip-hop, and punk rock into captivating sci-fi anthems. The band still looks and sounds like a composer straight out of a 2000 AD magazine, with Graham Crabb and Mary Byker trading vocals like bouncing Duracell bunnies over irresistible and compulsive rhythms. Davey Bennett brings the bass and Cliff Hewitt plays the beats, while Adam Mole delivers aggressive guitar and sometimes waves his keyboard with delirious joy. Always creative, always in their own world, Pop Will Eat Itself has deleted everything and started over.
