Poison is an American glam metal band from Pennsylvania. It is one of the most popular in its country during the 1980s. Musically and visually, Poison is situated between Mötley Crüe and Bon Jovi, being a rather harmless and colorful hard rock, symptomatic of the California sound of the 1980s. In 2014, Poison has sold over 45 million albums worldwide, and 15 million in the United States alone.
