The ultimate and definitive box set for collectors. "Minotaur" was designed by legendary artist Vaughan Oliver who, with photographer Simon Larbalestier, created the visuals for all 5 Pixies studio albums. The two artists have thus joined forces to create this box set, which becomes the most important and complete work of the Pixies. "Minotaur" contains: - The 5 Pixies studio albums: "Come On Pilgrim", "Surfer Rosa", "Doolittle", "Bossanova" and "Trompe Le Monde" in the following formats: 24k gold-plated CD, 180g vinyl LP pressed from the original analog master tapes, Blu-ray audio in Dolby Surround 5.1 and 2-channel stereo at 24/192, DVD in 5.1 Surround and 2-channel stereo 24/96. - An unreleased live concert video recorded in Brixton in 1991 in the following formats: DVD in 5.1 Surround and 2-channel stereo 24/96, Blu-ray in Dolby Surround 5.1 and 2-channel stereo at 24/192. All discs in the box set are presented in a sleeve specially created for the set. 1 96-page booklet compiling all of Oliver and Larbalestier's work, 1 additional 54-page booklet, 1 12" x 19.5" giclée art print of the duo's work, 2 reversible 48" x 36" posters. Each copy of this box set will be individually numbered and hand-signed by all members of the Pixies and Vaughan Oliver. In addition, randomly, 25 of the 3000 limited edition box sets will include extra vinyl. The box set is presented in a custom-made clamshell box and weighs approximately 11 kg.
