The first album from the band led by Lush's singer. The English supergroup Piroshka unveils its debut album. The band, made up of Miki Berenyi, singer of Lush, accompanied by Kevin McKillop (Moose) on guitar, Justin Welch (Elastica) on drums, and Michael Conroy (Modern English) on bass, takes its name from the Hungarian Little Red Riding Hood, reminiscent of a cut from the 90s Britpop scene. Their music is an euphoric pop that is much more than the sum of its four parts. Delicate yet full of energy, its lyrics reflect the brutal era in which we live.
